THE BEST RED VELVET CAKE

INGREDIENTS
Cake
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 ½ Cup Butter Milk
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • ½ Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 ¼ Cups Warm Water
  • 1 Teaspoon Distilled White Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Red Food Coloring
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Froasting
  • 1 Cup Butter Sofrened
  • 16 Ounces Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1 Teaspoonm Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Cup Butter Softened

INTRUCTIONS
  1. Preheat the oven first to 350 degrees. Butter three rounds of cake 9 inches. Clean with flour and tap the rest.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, cornstarch, cacao, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in the mixer stand using low speed until combined.
  3. Add eggs, milk, warm water, oil, vanilla, vinegar, and food coloring. Shake at medium to smooth pace. It will take only a few minutes.
  4. Divide the dough between the three pots prepared.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the cake meets the toothpick test (put the toothpick inside and it's out clean).
  6. Chill in the wire shelves for 15 minutes and then turn the cake onto the shelf and let it cool completely before freezing.
  7. Make a decoration. In a large bowl, shake the butter and cream cheese until fluffy. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer for best results. Add vanilla extract. Shake until combined. Shake in powdered sugar, 1 glass at a time until smooth frosting.
  8. Assemble and freeze a really cool cake.
